Open Quartz sighting: Open Quartz developer Gottfried Hofmann reports that German magazine PC Action included Open Quartz on their DVD. They compare the action to Serious Sam (no surprise considering the open source Quake code used in the demo.)

A new OpenQuartz update?!: That's right, and probably plenty more to come. Headed by the Mapes and new people who have joined the OpenQuartz team, the project has made headway and will be active and up to date once again. Return of the Game Engine: According to http://www.blender.org, the Blender engine will be released as an integrated part of Blender version 2.33! From the sound of things, this could be as soon as next month.
